A-Board Printing

A-board and pavement sign printing in Somerset. A1 and A2 inserts, rigid boards, single and double-sided. Fast turnaround from Highbridge, Somerset.

An A-board (also called a pavement sign or sandwich board) is one of the simplest and most effective ways to drive footfall into a shop, café, restaurant, or salon. Placed outside your premises, it catches the eye of people walking or driving past and gives you a flexible, changeable message every day.

Somerset Printing supplies A-board prints in standard snap-frame and poster-insert sizes, as well as fully printed rigid boards for semi-permanent display. We print single and double-sided, in full colour, with the option to laminate for weather protection.

Many of our clients use A-boards for daily specials, promotional offers, directional signage at events, and seasonal campaigns. The beauty of a printed insert A-board is that you can change the message regularly without replacing the whole board — just bring in a new printed sheet.

Based in Highbridge, we serve businesses throughout Somerset, including Burnham-on-Sea and Bridgwater. Contact us via the form below for a quote.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you supply the A-board frame?

We supply the printed inserts and rigid boards. A-board frames (snap-frame pavement signs) can be sourced from display equipment suppliers — we can recommend options if you're starting from scratch.

Are A-boards allowed on the pavement?

Pavement regulations vary by local authority. In most cases you'll need to ensure the board doesn't obstruct pedestrian flow and may need permission from Somerset Council if your premises is in a managed town centre. Check with your local authority before placing a board on public pavement.

How often can I change the message?

As often as you like. With a snap-frame A-board, changing the insert takes seconds. We can print you a pack of different inserts at the same time for convenience.

Can I get A-board prints on waterproof material?

Yes — laminated poster prints and rigid foamex or correx prints are both suitable for outdoor use. For heavy rain exposure, a laminated print in a covered snap-frame, or a rigid foamex board, is the most practical option.
