Booklets are a practical and professional way to present longer-form content — training materials, event programmes, product guides, menus, and more. Somerset Printing produces saddle-stitched and perfect-bound booklets with consistent quality throughout, however many pages you need.
We print booklets in a range of sizes from A5 to A4, with page counts starting from 8 pages upwards. Covers can be printed on heavier stock with a gloss or matt laminate finish for a premium result, while inner pages are typically on a lighter silk or uncoated sheet that reads well and takes ink cleanly.
Common uses include training and induction packs, conference and event programmes, restaurant menus, school prospectuses, and membership guides. We work with supplied print-ready artwork or produce the design ourselves if needed.

Frequently Asked Questions
What's the minimum page count for a saddle-stitched booklet?
Saddle-stitch requires a minimum of 8 pages (2 sheets of paper folded together). Page counts must always be in multiples of 4.
Can I have some pages in colour and some in black and white?
Yes. Mixed-colour printing is possible and can reduce costs for booklets with significant amounts of text-only content. Ask us when you enquire.
What if I need more than 60 pages?
Beyond around 60–64 pages, we switch to perfect binding (a square spine with glued pages) for a cleaner, more book-like result. We'll advise based on your page count.
Can I have my logo on the spine?
Spine printing is only possible on perfect-bound booklets with enough pages to make the spine visible. For saddle-stitched booklets there is no printable spine.
Do you print booklets with personalised content?
Variable-data printing (personalised names, addresses, or codes per copy) is available on request. Contact us to discuss your requirements.
